for 24 hours, i like to, both, celebrate valentine’s day (hearts, love, chocolate) and avoid cute couples like the plague. being in new york city, the latter is a bit impossible.

so today, I spent my free morning learning a new Chopin piece for the piano, made a cup of tea and curled up with my copy of The Great Gatsby, and tonight I am going to Lincoln Center to see the New York City Ballet’s performance of “Sleeping Beauty”

this is probably the best valentine’s day i’ve had in a while!
